Collecting Signatures - How Branded Are We?

A unique benefit of eMailSignature is the possibility of collecting all existing signatures for all users for central analysis. It is possible to collect and gain a full report on how signatures look like even before publishing out new signatures company-wide.

It is possible to collect up to 10 signatures per user all in HTML format. This covers most users.

To enter and view the signatures collection, proceed as follows:

  1. In the 'Diagnostics' tab, the 'How branded are we?' toolbar. Select one of the following two options:

Only collect signatures - do not deploy signatureseMailSignature will not do anything else but only collect all existing signatures. No new signatures will be generated, no changes in MS Outlook, etc.
Always collect signatures after deploymentAll signatures for all users will be collected after the signatures have been generated. Using this option you can follow the deployment and look and feel of all signatures. Please note that when choosing this option, the size of the settings database increases and you can expect a usage of around 50kB per user on average.

  1. To see the collected signatures, click 'Collected Signatures'.

    The following window appears.
